ALL ABOUT RISINGHOLME COMMUNITY CENTRE INC

We are a non profit making organisation with a focus on promoting community spirit and the development of appropriate social, educational and leisure activities and we have strong ethic of excellence and community well being.

We receive funding from the Tertiary Education Commission to offer programmes of Adult & Community Education at Risingholme Opawa, in the Burnside area and  at Christchurch Girls' High School.  From May 2007 we are also managing the programme offered at Riccarton High School.

We work in a collaborative way with other ACE providers and each year a percentage of our ACE funding is passed on to a wide range of community groups offering ACE opportunities which are complementary to the programmes we administer directly.
