Enrolments are now closed for Te Reo Māori
An email has been sent to all those who have secured a place which includes important information and directions

Participants will be introduced to te reo māori being a significant feature of te ao māori (the māori world) as is the English language in the English speaking world.

Focus will be on correct pronunciation of the 5 vowel sounds.

Commonly mispronounced place names will be retaught and 3 waiata (songs) will be introduced to support correct language pronunciation.

Important values such as whakapapa and manaakitanga will be explained and the idea of pepehā is introduced.
